This is very funny, where a Hamilton bakery claimed “better than Montreal bagels”, and frankly that’s a bold claim. So a bold team of investigators including my buddy Ryk Edelstein shed light on the topic. Video is here and article in The Gazette here. Do not mess with our bagelhood!

In what will come as no surprise to any Montrealer, our bagels reigned – extremely – supreme in a blind taste test over the best that Steeltown could bake. It wasn’t even close.
